What is Final Inspection Before Settlement?

A pre-settlement inspection, also known as a final inspection, is an important step before finalising a property purchase. It allows the buyer to ensure the property is in the same condition that it was on the Day of Sale (except for fair wear and tear) and that any agreed-upon repairs or other conditions have been met.

This inspection may be done in the week leading up to settlement.
